Cotton twill wipers are used for polishing and burnishing parts. They are soft, and moderately low linting. They are excellent for wiping plated surfaces, polished surfaces or any other scratch sensitive surfaces. A biased cut edge offers better particle reduction, than a straight cut edge.

A polyester nonwoven is simply a synthetic fabric that has been sprayed out and turned into a sheet of material that is similar to other non-wovens, but contains only polyester fibers. It is soft, relatively non-absorbent and non-particle generating. Excellent for wiping applications that require softness and chemical resistance.

A meltblown composite that is synthetic, soft and strong when introduced to liquids, alcohols and water. It can be used with both acids and solvents and is an inexpensive option to polyester knit fabrics. The composite material is usually an organic rayon or cellulose material that is sandwiched between two layers of meltblown polypropylene fabric.

|
Long fiber cellulose material that is sprayed onto a sheet that allows for the absorbency of cellulose, with the added control of particle generation. This material is similar to tissue, but more aggressively bonded fibers provide for a soft, absorbent and low-linting type of wiper material that is inexpensive and excellent as a work surface or product separator.

Cleanroom rated wipers are made from a number of wiper materials. These cleanroom wipers have been sterilized through gamma irradiation and are sold with certificates of sterility and lot traceability. Used in the pharmaceutical and biotech markets, as well as in medical applications.
